DRIVER’S LICENCE
Drivers must have held a valid full driving licence for at least 18 months before the pick-up date.
Original licence must be presented at pick-up.
Licence acceptance
Accepted without an International Driving Permit (IDP):
- EU/EEA driving licences, including licences issued by the UK, Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Driving licences issued by the USA, Canada and Australia are also accepted.
Other countries:
For driving licences issued by other countries, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required and must always be presented together with the original national driving licence. If the licence is not written in Latin characters, an official English or Greek translation may also be required.
Important:
Photocopies, digital licences, photos of licences, learner’s permits, provisional licences or restricted licences are not accepted. The original physical driving licence must be presented at pick-up.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE
The renter is fully liable if damage occurs due to:
Driving on non-asphalt or off-road surfaces
Traffic violations or reckless driving
Alcohol or drug influence
Unauthorized drivers
Late return without approved extension*
Ferry transport or cross-border use
Interior damage, clutch/gearbox misuse, animal damage
*Any late return must be approved by Drivers Club in advance. Unapproved late returns may result in extra charges and may affect insurance coverage.
FERRY & BORDER RESTRICTIONS
Transporting the vehicle by ferry or outside Greece is strictly prohibited.
All insurance becomes void.

The booking deposit is a prepayment and is deducted from the total rental price. It is not a security deposit.

GPS TRACKERS & PRIVACY
GPS trackers are installed solely for vehicle security and theft prevention.
Location data is not used for driver monitoring and is disclosed only when legally required.
VEHICLE CONDITION & CLEANING

Vehicles must be returned in good condition

Special cleaning may incur a €10–€80 fee

Smoking inside vehicles results in an €80 cleaning charge
CAR REPLACEMENT
In case of breakdown or accident, we will do our best to provide a replacement vehicle within 24 hours, subject to availability. The replacement may be a similar or higher category vehicle. If no replacement vehicle can be provided due to lack of availability, a refund may be offered only for the unused rental days. This does not apply if the issue was caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized driving, driving on non-asphalt roads, traffic violations, or any breach of the rental terms.
